This wine is produced from merlot grapes cultivated in the area of Matelica at 400/500m above the sea level.
Its color is bright ruby red with aroma of berries and grassy herbs.
It has a good structure, in mouth it is juicy & compact with a perceptible acidity & fruity aftertaste.

Vineyard region: Marche region, province of Ancona

Location of the vines: in the area of Rosso Conero production;

Grapes: 100% Montepulciano

System of growing: Sylvoz and upside down, with low number of buds per hectare.

Soil: the ground is the product of calcareous marl rock mixed with zone of brown red soil.

Altitudine: 130-250 m.

Winemaking: an innovative wine, cryomaceration on the skins. Fermentation at controlled temperature, the wine is divided from the skins beforehand in order to magnify the primary and varietal aromas. The wines matures part in barrels and part in steel tanks for about 8 months.

Alcohol: 12,50%

Tasting notes: ruby and intense red colour with purple hints. Soft fruit on the nose, especially wild strawberries and raspberries, violet. Velvety, soft and well balanced on the palate, cherries and blackberries.
